Wrestlers Protest: After police action, will this become a turning point of stir?

In view of people protesting, the Delhi Police came into action, which led to a fierce fight at Jantar Mantar. The protestors alleged that the police men involved were drunk and violent.

New Delhi: Delhi’s Jantar Mantar is currently dominated by protesting wrestlers, who are demanding strict government action against WFI Chief Brij Bhushan. From Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to Navjot Singh Sidhu, several politicians came in support of the protesting wrestlers. In view of people protesting, the Delhi Police came into action, which also saw physical altercation at Jantar Mantar. The protestors alleged that the police men involved were drunk and violent. The wrestlers proclaimed that the police didn’t behave well and even tried to thrash the protestors. At the forefront, section 144 has been imposed around the protesting site.  All this looks similar to the farmers protest that happened last year which took a fierce turn after police waded into the stir.
