Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Queshi & Information & Broadcasting Minister Fawad Hussain have altered their profiles on Twitter and no longer describe them as serving minister. Their Twitter profiles now describe themselves as former ministers.

New Delhi: In first-ever indication of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan bowing out of power, his two ministers have changed their social media profiles.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Queshi & Information & Broadcasting Minister Fawad Hussain have altered their profiles on Twitter and no longer describe them as serving minister. Their Twitter profiles now describe themselves as former ministers.

The development comes hours ahead of Pak PM Imran Khan facing No-Trust vote in the Assembly.

The dramatic development in Pakistan political corridor has emboldened the buzz that Imran Khan has accepted defeat before vote and is ready to quit the throne.

Reports also suggest that Imran Khan may resign as Pak PM and may not wait till the Trust vote. It was scheduled to be held earlier in the day but was deferred till evening as parties held parleys over fast-changing scenario in Pak political landscape.

After Pak Apex Court restored the National Assembly and called for voting, Imran and his ministers have expressed disappointment with the order.

Just a day before the D-Day, Imran Khan addressed the countrymen and launched a scathing attack on United States. He said that a foreign power has conspired to unseat him from power. He also exhorted people to stay united and strongly oppose the foreign plot to install a ‘sold-out’ government in the country.

“We are not a nation that can be used like tissue paper,” he said and challenged the Opposition to face him in elections.
