New Delhi: Two Pakistani leaders came to blows during LIVE TV debate on a news channel last night and the duo were caught on camera raining slaps & punches at each other. The video of physical brawl, after it landed on social media went viral in no time and is now giving Pakistani political class the embarrassing blushes.
The incident happened when TV debate was underway over country’s burning issues of price rise & unemployment. While the leaders belonging to different political class defended their party, one of them lost cool & started raining slaps on other. Latter also retaliated resulting in exchange of blows & abusive language until the studio staff mediated and separated the two. The fistfight happned on the ‘Kal Tak’ show hosted by Pakistani TV host Javed Chaudhary on Express TV.
As per reports, one was Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Afnan Ullah Khan, also a senator and the other one associated with Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sher Afzal Khan Marwat. Though, both hit each other in the fight, the first move was by PTI lawyer Marwat, who attacked the PML-N senator.

What led to physical brawl
During the LIVE TV debate, they started abusive jibes at each other. Both dubbed the opposite as ‘bootlicker’ of their political master.
When PML-N senator claimed that PTI chief Imran Khan colluded with military brass to rule the country, latter got offended and then their personal families got dragged into the debate.
Following this, PTI’s Marwat leaves his chair and slaps the Pakistani senator on his head. In the video, the enraged senator could also be seen leaving his chair and giving a big thrashing to PTI leader cum lawyer.
The viral video though misses the action when PTI lawyer is pinned to the ground but voice could be heard and studio members scrambling to separate the duo.
A couple of hours later, the PML-N senator too to X and shared his version of the story. He said that he was a dedicated & loyal soldier of Nawaz Sharif.
