New Delhi: After October 6 terror attacks, Israel has launched well-coordinated & relentless attack on Hamas terror bases in Gaza strip and has vowed to vapourize them in an unprecedented reprisal.
Besides intense military offensive, elite forces of Israeli Army are engaged in rescuing the hostages captured by the Hamas infiltrators. For the uninitiated, lot many Israeli citizens including women & children were taken hostages and taken to Gazaa region by the Hamas operatives.
In one of most successful operation, the Israeli Army stormed into Hamas outpost and neutralized as many as 60 terrorists. More so, the elite Shayetet’s Fleet Unit of Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) also rescued about 250 hostages from the outpost.
The IDF took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared series of details including video on how they eliminated 60 Hamas men and also captured Muhammad Abu A’ali, deputy commander of Hamas southern naval division.

“The forces operated in a large number of centres, the main ones being in Kibbutz Bari, Mitzvah Sofa, Kfar Gaza, Sa’ad, Mefalsim and Nir Oz,” IDF informed about the operation in an X post.

The video shows elite team of Israeli armed forces barging into several buildings before locating the right location of terrorists. Once they spot the building keeping hostages, they corner it from all around and hurl grenades at the outpost.
“26 terrorists were arrested, including the deputy commander of the southern naval brigade of Hamas, Muhammad Abu A’ali,” the IDF further added.

Israeli forces, equipped in full combat gear are seen taking on the terrorists head-on and subsequently capturing the big fish.
The soldiers then go inside bunker and rescue the hostages. The video also shows them keeping some injured ones on stretcher.
According to IDF, its forces have launched mega hostage rescue operation in areas bordering the Gaza Strip, including Kibbutz Bari, Mitzvah Sofa, Kfar Gaza, Sa’ad, Mefalsim and Nir Oz areas.
Israel calls for evacuation of Northern Gaza
Meanwhile, Israel has called for excavation of Northern Gaza. Reports suggest that Israeli Army is all set to enter the Gaza strip to punish the perpetrators. Gaza is already under Israeli blockade with no access to its gas, food, electricity & medicines after the deadly October 6 multi-front assault.
At least 3,38,000 Gaza residents are said to have been displaced since Hamas invaded Southern part of Iraq on October 7. Israel’s retaliatory strikes in Gaza have create wide destruction and mayhem.
Reports suggest that about 3 lakh Israeli soldiers are amassed near the Gaza strip border and waiting for green signal to launch ground assault. IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus in a news briefing didn’t state clearly its intentions but said that Israeli tanks, armored vehicles were stationed there for “making preparations for the next stage of the war.”
As per official figures, both sides have suffered huge casualty. Israeli officials claim that more than 1300 people were killed in Gaza incursion. The retaliatory strikes in Gaza took a heavy toll and more than 1500 Gaza residents are said to have been killed.
The deceased on both sides include women & children but the bone-chilling incidents of Hamas terrorists are only beginning to surface. Some reports claim that pregnant women in Israel were cut open while their babies taken out from wombs and left to die.
