Kim Jong Un has reportedly given his sister, Kim Yo Jong, partial authority to oversee “general state affairs” as he is in a coma, said Former aide to South Korea’s late president Kim Dae-Jung.
He has also alleged that all the recent photographs of Kim Jong released by North Korean media are fake.
South Korean officials had repeatedly disputed reports of his poor health saying they have detected no unusual signs from North Korea.
The report of Kim’s illness started doing rounds following his absence at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun in Pyongyang on the birthday of late state founder and his grandfather, Kim Il-sung.

Chang Song-min told South Korean media: “I assess him to be in a coma, but his life has not ended. “A complete succession structure has not been formed, so Kim Yo-jong is being brought to the fore as the vacuum cannot be maintained for a prolonged period.”
Earlier, Contradicting reports over his health condition, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has made his ‘first public appearance’ after 20 days of absence when he attended a ceremony marking the completion of a fertilizer plant in Sunchon, South Phyongan Province.
