New Delhi: Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s professional and personal life has always managed to grab the top headlines every now and then, and the process only seems to escalate after the latter took over popular microblogging site Twitter.
In the fresh row, a news report by the Wall Street Journal is the talk of the town which claims that Musk has been involved in a romantic relationship with Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife Nicole Shanahan.
“Mr Musk and Mr Brin were close friends until the affair”, the report said.
Reacting to the report that erupted a major controversy as soon as it was published, Elon took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night! I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic”.

Here’s what the report said
“The liaison with Mr. Musk took place in early December 2021, at the Art Basel event in Miami…Art Basel is a multiday, annual festival that draws wealthy attendees from around the world. At a party…Mr Musk dropped to one knee in front of Mr Brin and apologised profusely for the transgression, begging for forgiveness, according to people with knowledge of the incident”, the report read
According to the report, the alleged relationship between the two began when singer Grimes, who shares two children with Musk broke up with each other.
On the other hand, Google co-founder Sergey Brin had filed for a divorce with Shanahan earlier this year, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’. Brin further claimed that he and Shanahan had been living seperately since year 2021.
