New Delhi: A video of three friends hugging each other in Italy, before a sudden surge of water sweeps away them, has gone viral on social media.
They were a man and two women, all under 30, held on to each other to withstand the fast-moving flood water. One of them called the emergency authorities around 1:35 pm on May 31 and soon the firefighters arrived to save them. The firemen tried to send a rescue rope and kept instructing them to hold each other tightly from a nearby crossover but unfortunately, the instant flood swept them off.
According to the report in Daily Mail, the three friends were Patrizia Cormos, her partner Cristian Molnar, and her friend Bianca Doros. They stopped the car near the river to roam and click some pictures at the small beach. Three of them were only a “few meters from the safety of a river bank,” the rescue team reported.
Later, the bodies of two girls were found at a distance of one Kilometer from the location and recognized as Cormos and Doros. Molnar is still not found and the rescue team has said to Daily Mail that they aren’t going to give up until and unless they have found the third person.

He was probably focusing on where they were. It’s an awful outcome for the three friends.” The third user said, “Very sad. They were not supposed to walk in that area. There was a forbidden sign.”
