Viral Video : Raven attacks coffee-delivering drone in Australia, remind Netizens of ‘Angry Birds’

New Delhi : An usual incident took place in Australia’s Canberra when a coffee-delivering drone was attacked by a raven. The act was recorded on camera by a resident and shared on multiple social media platforms.
Ben Roberts, a resident of a suburb called Harrison in Australia, had ordered coffee that had to be delivered by a drone to his house. Drone deliveries are quiet common in the related region, operated by a program called ‘Wing’ in collaboration with Google.
As Roberts was eagerly gazing into the sky, he spotted the drone which had brought his coffee, being callously attacked by a Raven. He recorded the video of the incident in his mobile phone camera and shared it on social media.

The video is going viral on social media as Netizens found it hilarious how bird felt like it had a ‘right’ to attack the drone which had entered into its territory.
A user commented, “Not in my neighbourhood”. Another wrote, “It reminded me of Angry Birds”.
As per ABC Australia, Canberra have seen a surge in drone deliveries in the recent times. The attacks of the birds on the passing-by drones have increased as well.
In an statement by program system Wing said, “We’ve identified some birds in your area demonstrating territorial behaviors and swooping at moving objects. While this is common during nesting season, we are committed to being strong stewards of the environment and would like to have ornithological experts investigate this further to ensure we continue to have minimal impact on birdlife in our service locations. ”
