In  a video which is doing rounds on social media, Pakistan lawmaker can be heard mocking Pak Prime Minsiter Imran Khan over rising debts.

“Today Malaysia kept our airplane, tomorrow someone will keep the prime minister over non-payment of loans,” he said in the video.

This statement comes after a Pakistani International Airlines (PIA) plane was held back by a local court in Malaysia due to a legal dispute between the airline and another party.

About the seized Airlines

According to Geo News, Malaysia has seized a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Boeing-777 aeroplane at the Kuala Lumpur Airport owing to non-payment of aircraft lease dues. The action was taken on the orders of a local Malaysian court over the non-payment of aircraft lease dues.

The PIA had leased two aircraft, including the Boeing-777, from a Vietnamese company in 2015. The plane was seized after passengers had already boarded the aircraft.
