About Fiasco

Fiasco

Igor Gotesman, who is celebrated for his exceptional work in 2019 and released the direct-to-series Family Business, has created, written, and directed Fiasco by joining hands with  Pierre Niney.

Notably, the two have also played pivotal roles in the web series with Pierre portraying the character of Raphaël Valande and Gotesman gracing the screens in another impact side role.

Fiasco Plot & Storyline

The story of Fiasco circles the life of Raphaël Valande, a fresher director who wants to keep his foot in the world of direction with her first movie.

To start his directing career, he decides to make a film inspired by the heroic life of his grandma and starts working on it eventually.

However, things start to go south for Raphaël and his crew when an imposter from the production team causes deliberate damage to the movie and makes their lives hell. What happens next and how Raphaël deals with the hostile situation is the crux of the series.

Boasting actors like Pierre Niney, Igor Gotesman, Louise Coldefy, Géraldine Nakache, and François Civil in its cast, Fiasco is bankrolled by Five Dogs & Ninety Films productions. It is edited by Stéphan Couturier and will arrive on Netflix on April 30th, 2024.
