Kawasaki W175 launched in India at Rs 1.47 lakh, check features and price detail here

The bike has been made available for sale and the company will commence the delivery of the Kawasaki W175 from December onwards

New Delhi: Putting an end to the long wait, automaker Kawasaki has finally launched its retro motorcycle Kawasaki W175 in India. The much-speculated bike comes in two colour options – Ebony and Candy Persimmon Red. The first variant of the bike is standard while the second one is a special edition.

The bike has been made available for sale at all the authorized dealerships of the company across various states. Customers can get the new retro model via company’s official website or visit the nearest dealership. The company will commence the delivery of the Kawasaki W175 from December onwards.

Features

The newly launched model comes with a disc brake on the front wheel and a drum brake on the rear wheel, along with a single channel anti-lock braking system. In the suspension system, a 30 mm telescopic front fork suspension has been installed in the front as well as a dual shock absorber system in the rear.

Kawasaki has included a digital speedometer, trip meter, odometer, indicator lamp, single piece seat, indicator lamp, neutral, high beam and many warning alerts in this retro-style bike.

Engine 

Talking of the engine in Kawasaki W175, it consists of a 177 cc single cylinder engine which is based on fuel injected air cooled technology. The engine generates 13 PS of power and 13.3 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed speed gearbox has been paired with this engine.

The price of these bikes will be based on the variant, wherein the initial price of the first standard variant is Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the starting price of the special edition has been fixed at Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
