Volvo, a Swedish multinational company, is ready to launch its new electric compact SUV namely Volvo XC40 Recharge in India on July 27.

New Delhi: Volvo, a Swedish multinational company, is ready to launch its new electric compact SUV namely Volvo XC40 Recharge in India on July 27. The car is the facelift version of the XC40 Recharge with more aggressive bumpers. The car is reportedly packed with two electric motors that can give an output of 480hp.

The car is being touted by the company to bring change into the future with the Pure Electric XC40 Recharge. Below here, we are going to tell you about the 5 cool features and the price of the car.

Google Assistant

The new Volvo XC40 will come with google assistant, making it easier for everyone to get directions, enjoy entertainment, and keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues. One can get the assistant feature by just saying ”Hey Google”.

Cleaner cabin air

The company has provided an advanced air purifier system that is capable of preventing up to 80% of hazardous PM 2.5 particles from getting into the cabin. It is reported that the pollen levels outside the car can also be monitored.

360 degree parking view

The 360 degrees of parking view can help to park confidently even in a close space. The sensor alerts the driver of objects at the side of the car.

Ease stress in busy traffic

The blind spot information system (BLIS) sends an alert if there is a risk of collision with other vehicles in the adjacent lane.

Best-in-class navigation 

The car comes with Google Maps support that shows real-time traffic information and automatic rerouting.

Volvo XC40 features and engine detail

The car is expected to feature a 78kWh battery that offers a range of  418km. The 150kw DC fast charging can deliver 10% to 80% in 33 minutes. However, the company said the XC40 Recharge can charge 100% in about 2.5 hours.

The electric motors can produce 408hp and 660Nm of torque. Market experts suggest the can be priced at around Rs 65 lakh.
