Ukrainian government launches website for accepting donation in cryptocurrency

In the latest development, Ukraine has officially launched an official website to accept donations in cryptocurrencies.

New Delhi: The crisis between Russia and Ukraine is still not ended. Russia is continuously firing missiles to take control of the left cities of Ukraine. On Friday morning, Russia fired a missile at the city of Lviv, destroying an aircraft repair plant in the worn-torn country.  The non-stop invasion of Russia has also financially weakened Ukraine.

Owing to this, Ukraine is trying to get funding from multiple ways from around the world. In the latest development, Ukraine has officially launched an official website to accept donations in cryptocurrencies.

Announces Vice President of Ukraine

The announcement of the launching of the website was made by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov. He made the announcement on March 15 through his Twitter account.

It is reported that the platform will work in a collaboration between the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Everstake, and cryptocurrency exchange FTX. FTX helps send convert cryptocurrency funds to the National Bank of Ukraine after converting the funds into fiat.

Notably, Everstake is a company based in Ukraine. It said we wanted to give the crypto community a viable option to efficiently stand with Ukraine.

The war-torn country Ukraine named the website ‘Aid fo Ukraine’

Where will the donation money be used?

Ukraine also said all funds raised through this effort will go directly towards aiding Ukrainians. We also use the donations to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine as well as Ukrainian civilians.

On the website, one will get enlisted crypto addresses and bank account information for the government of Ukraine for donation. The website is accepting cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, ethereum, polkadot, tether, solana, dogecoin and monero.

Besides cryptocurrencies, you can donate in fiat currencies such as USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and CAD.
