New Delhi: BTT has been replaced by BTTC after the launch of BitTorrentChain. In 2022, it is said that BitTorrent’s native asset BTT is a good investment.

Earlier today, BitTorrent Inc took to twitter to inform that with BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) and the BTT redenomination plan launched, the community participated in the BTT redenomination plan and burned over 525,214,890,850 BTTOLD.

Swapping is easy, when you know where you hold your BTTOLD:

1. BTTOLD held on exchanges

Only if your exchanges can  support BTT redenomination plan such as Gate.io, all BTTOLD can be easily swapped also automatically without doing anything extra.

While on the other hand, if your exchanges does not support BTT redenomination plan, then you need to withdraw your BTTOLD to TronLink Wallet, and then  try swapping them on BitTorrent Chain website.

2. BTTOLD held on Wallets

In case your BTTOLD is held on decentralized wallets, then you need to deposit your BTTOLD to preferred exchanges so that you can withdraw them to your TronLink wallet. With this you can swap on BitTorrent Chain website.

  1. Visit https://bt.io

2. Then kindly add TronLink to your Google Chrome extensions

3. Click on “Swap BTT” button on https://bt.io, and the click “Connect to wallet”
4.  You can now enter the amount of BTTOLD that you want to swap.
5. Now you can Sign and approve the action in your wallet.
