
New Delhi: After the novel coronavirus found its foothold in India, there has been a constant rise in the number of infected patients. Initially, it appeared limited to Metro cities where there was maximum influx of foreigners/Indian nationals returning home. However, today, it has assumed alarming proportion penetrating one state after the another.
Till date, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India has risen to 562, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday. This includes 512 active cases, while 40 infected people have already been cured or discharged. The Union Health Ministry said that total deaths due to the disease now stand at 9, as the second death reported in Delhi is COVID-19 negative. One patient has also migrated due to the infection.

Recovery of Corona+ patients: Numbers raise hope
Coronavirus positive patients are isolated and quarantined to stop spread of disease, however the recovery rate is above 90-95%, according to medical experts.
Here also, the numbers of patients recovering from Covid-19 gives hope. In the table, you can see that doctors are able to cure more patients, with each passing day. Salute to them for this selfless service.
