New Delhi: India has ramped up its Covid-19 testing to 1 lakh samples per day and till date has conducted more than 27 lakhs tests . Still, the numbers are not discouraging, rather India is faring much better as compared to global economies.
India has lowest number of Covid-19 cases as compared to other countries. Fatality rate due to Coronavirus is also among the lowest in the world.
Union Health Minister today said that in a country of 1.35 billion people, there are only 0.1 million cases of COVID-19. Also, the recovery rate is above 40 and doubling rate is 13 days.
It is because of India’s proactive and pre-emptive response to Covid-19.
