Every now and then we come across a book that does not conform to the majority’s narrative. CASTE is NOT HINDU is such a book that is an anomaly and at the same time has excellent credibility, as it is entirely on historical facts and definitely not based on the opinions of the authors.
Hindus have been told repeatedly for millions of times that the evil caste system belongs to their religion, culture, and tradition. This degrading and discriminative Varna system had been recorded clearly in our shastra-s such as the Rig Veda, Manusmriti, Bhagavad Gita, and many more. The Varnashrama is written all over the shastra-s and is intrinsic to the Hindu way of life.
Hindus carry this burden of guilt shamefully and have accepted that this Varna system needs to be eradicated and expunged from our shastra-s once and for all. It seems that this is an archaic and primitive error on the authors of the shastra-s and cannot be practiced in modern times. If this caste issue is erased from our shastra-s, then only our shastra-s can be accorded its rightful place, as the fountain of knowledge. It is an unwanted blemish on our shastra-s.
The caste system has been accepted by everyone as a creation of the Hindus. This evil hierarchical system has been highlighted for almost 200 years by Hindus themselves, as well as non-Hindus who constantly use it as a jibe to remind the Hindus of their unfair and discriminative religion. Thus, in a single stroke, their religions seem superior compared to Sanatana Dharma.
But then, a book such as this gem – CASTE is NOT HINDU pops up suddenly after almost 200 years. It is indeed as rare as the Kohinoor diamond. This book persuades us to relook at all the evidence in a chronological manner, as the authors have laid the chapters in such a way. The facts of history that have been recorded by the British and published in this book, break the caste narrative into a thousand pieces. All that remains is a mountain of lies that have been peddled cunningly to the unsuspecting Hindus and the non-Hindus as well.
Hindu shastra-s are ancient and have been dated to the BC era and Varnashrama is recorded from that early times itself. The word ‘casta’ comes from the Portuguese / Spanish language. Sistema de Casta landed in Goa in the year 1523 with the Portuguese invasion. How can it be equal to and the same as the Varnashrama as they are more than 2000 years apart in their implementation? These two separate systems were practiced side by side and slowly the screws were tightened by the invaders to completely impose their belief system on the powerless Hindus.
Then in the year 1871, by using the ‘Census Questionnaire’, as a divide and rule mechanism, the British cunningly superimposed the caste system on top and over the Varna system, and further quashed the Jati-s to fit into the four-layered caste system permanently. Please hold on, this is not an opinion of the authors, but it is recorded history by the British in the Census Reports of 1871 and thereafter.
The East India Company and later the British Raj wanted to perpetually rule India and milk all its wealth forever. This book is a must read for all Hindus, especially the younger generation as it offers valid proof to show that the caste system was imported.
The real question is – Who said that the Varnashrama is equal to the caste system? The Varnashrama has its roots in the guna-s and the inner mental aptitude of a person. It denotes the colour of the guna-s and not the skin colour of a person, as it has been spewed. And in the shastra-s itself, everyone has the freedom to educate themselves and change their varna according to the knowledge they have learnt. It is not rigid but a fluid system inherent in every society, not only the Hindu society.
However, the caste system is a rigid system which is based on blood lineage. Individuals under this system were segregated accordingly into these four hierarchical categories and they had no say. This is because, the caste system was a tool exercised by the kings and queens of Europe for the royal family to remain in control forever.
How the British deliberately mashed caste system with Varnashrama to brand it as the Hindu caste system. CASTE is NOT HINDU proves that all of these were concocted in England under the patronage of the East India Company and due to their new found wealth taken from India, they went on a diabolical plan to further subjugate the minds of the people of India.
