Campus Recruits MnR (2018-2022): A Story of Growth and Networks

In 2022, with 1,880 candidates from 19 top colleges like NIT, IIT and IIIT placed successfully, their campus engagement drive has grown significantly over time

New Delhi: McKinley Rice, the creator of one of India’s top technology job portals, has been conducting campus recruitment drives since its inception in India in 2018,  with just 8 colleges on board. In 2022, with 1,880 candidates from 19 top colleges like NIT, IIT and IIIT placed successfully, their campus engagement drive has grown significantly over time.

After stepping foot in India, the company expanded to three locations, namely Noida, Pune, and Ahmedabad, to be able to recruit the best-in-industry tech talents for various job profiles. Even when the world was reeling under the pressure of adapting to the ‘new normal’, exacerbated by the global pandemic in 2019, McKinley Rice continued to expand their college recruitment drive by taking it online through their portal ‘myMcKinley’.

The myMcKinley portal serves as a unified platform for McKinley Rice’s campus recruitment drives, where every prospective candidate is screened, assessed, and carefully selected for different job roles.

McKinley Rice’s  ‘myMcKinley’ portal was designed to also take care of the students’ transition from their college to the corporate world through planned and carefully designed modules called “Campus to Corporate Transition Training Modules”, in order to help them polish their knowledge before joining the organization.

Apart from this, McKinley Rice also provides personalized suggestions and feedback to all registered candidates about how they can improve upon their CVs as per the industry standards, through their resume-reviewing online platform called ‘Rexpert’. Experts from each domain go over the resumes with a fine-tooth comb and relay their feedback to the candidates automatically within a week after registration.

“Rexpert as a platform was designed to ease the recruitment process using efficient technology to our advantage. To date, we have successfully conducted CV-reviews using Rexpert in 16 colleges, helping over 2,488 students improve their CVs and land their dream jobs”, said Kartikey Handa,  Chief Operations and Growth Officer at McKinley Rice.

In 2021, McKinley Rice conducted their biggest campus engagement drive so far to hire for 40 tech and non-tech positions that included both internships and full-time positions.
