Delhi University: Final semester exams postponed by two weeks

The country reported 3,68,147 new cases along with 3,417 deaths on Monday after the number of daily new cases crossed the 4-lakh mark on Saturday.

New Delhi: In the view of ongoing second wave of COVID-19 across the country, Delhi University has postponed the final semester May/June 2021 examinations by two weeks. The exams will now start from June 1, 2021 which were earlier scheduled from May 15, 2021.

The University released an official notification on May 3 ,2021 announcing about the postponement of final semester/annual examinations. It also stated the withdrawal of the examination date sheet which was released earlier. The notification also asked the students to keep visiting the university website for further updates as a new date sheet will be released on the official website at a later date.

Government is also planning to postpone the NEET exams just like JEE due to the ongoing pandemic. Earlier CBSE and ICSE postponed the Board exams of Class 12 while cancelling the class 10 board exams.
