DU admissions 2020: 3rd list to be released tomorrow, expect no major dip in cut-off

DU admissions 2020: The DU third cut off list is set to be released on October 24. Aspirants can keep their fingers crossed till tomorrow morning. Official figures suggest that about 70% seats in top colleges have already gone.

New Delhi: Those aspirants wanting to get admission into Delhi University can keep an eye on the third list releasing on Saturday i.e. October 24. The University will release compiled data of third cut-off list for admission to undergraduate courses in various colleges. However, a major share of seats have been filled up and there lies little hope of major drop in cut-off marks. Official figures suggest that about 70% seats in top colleges have already gone.

The DU third cut off list will carry the required mark criteria as per category and course. A candidate will be required to reach this marks criteria for getting admission in respective colleges. The DU cut off lists are prepared using best of four calculation to offer admission across the DU colleges.

It must be noted that the DU UG admissions are offered through two modes – entrance based mode and merit based mode. Admission against the third DU cut off will begin from October 26.

Earlier, on October 17, Delhi University had released the consolidated second cut-off list in online mode for all colleges. However, colleges also individually released the list. PGDAV was the first one to release the DU second cut off on October 17 followed by SGTB Khalsa College, Jesus & Mary College, Hansraj College, Zakir Husain Delhi College, Ramjas College, Lady Shri Ram College and SRCC.

DU admission -

The admissions based on 2nd cut-off list will have be completed by today. Students can make the fee payment latest by 5 pm today. Based on these calculations, the University will cross-check available seats across colleges and a consolidated cut-off list would be released tomorrow.

According to official figures, a total of 62,172 students applied under the 2nd cut off. The first round list of DU cut-off was released on October 10 for most of DU colleges.

College of Vocational Studies had announced the cut-off list much earlier on October 9.
