New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to activate the online result link for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG, 2022 by today evening.
Candidates would be able to check their scorecards on NTA’s official website on September 7.
Over 18 lakh students had attempted the NEET UG examination conducted on July 17 earlier this year. The medical entrance exam was held across 497 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.
The testing agency had previously released the official answer key for all the codes on August 31.
Steps to Download Scorecards
# Visit NTA’s official website — neet.nta.nic.in
# On the Home Page, click ‘NEET 2022 Result’ under Latest Announcement
# On the next window enter credentials including NTA NEET application number and date of birth
# Click and access the NEET 2022 result.
# Download NEET UG 2022 scorecard, take a printout for further reference
NTA is expected to issue the much-awaited results between 6-8 pm, along with the final answer key, cut-off, and the all-India rank for this year.
Meanwhile, NTA has removed the age criteria as a ‘tie-breaker’ from this year onwards, and if a tie emerges between any two students, the agency will decide on the basis of marks attained in biology subject.
If it still doesn’t work out, the student obtaining more marks in chemistry will be preferred.
