New Delhi: Extending a helping hand to unprivileged children and equipping with latest electronic tools of education, the Rotary Club of Delhi Ananta distributed more than 100 E-learning tablets in presence of more than 200 people, this weekend.
President RTN Vikas Goyal of Rotary Club of Delhi Ananta organized a special camp on June 17, 2023 (Saturday) at the Rotary Ananta Charitable Hospital, Greater Noida, where the club members handed over 101 E-learning tablets to students in presence of eminent & distinguished guests.
The school children were provided with E-learning tablets by Guest of Honour District Governor Rtn. Dr. Lalit Khanna & District Team, AG Rtn. Vijay Kumar and Rotary club members.
The visibly excited children were elated & overjoyed over the distribution of tablets while for the organizers, it was an exhilarating and humbling experience. The faces of children were lit up with joy upon receiving the E-learning tablets and they also expressed their gratitude to the Rotary Club members for the noble act.
Rotary Club of Delhi Ananta President Rtn Vikas Goyal, Secretary Rtn Kapil Jain and Rotary Ananta Welfare Trust President Rtn Manoj Aggarwal organised & distributed the e-learning tablets alongwith other eminent club members.
Towards the end of program, students along with their parents were also provided with scrumptious lunch. More than 200 people including children, their parents along with hospital staff savored the meal.
As this was a humane & noble gesture towards empowerment of unprivileged children and creation of a level-playing field for them, the Rotary Club of Ananta is drawing praise & admiration from all quarters. Many eminent citizens have lauded the club members for its role in ‘nation-building’.
As the function was organized at Rotary Ananta Charitable Hospital, the latter again gained spotlight for furthering a noble cause in the field of education & literacy.
Earlier also, the club’s signature project has carried out services for common good of all. Some months ago, it organized free health & eye care camp, where people got their eye problems checked & monitored by trained paramedics. A special emphasis was made to attend to the divyangs.
