RRB NTPC Results: Aspirants indulged in unlawful activities will be will be debarred from rail jobs for lifetime, says Railway

The result of the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) for computer-based test (CBT) was declared on January 15 for shortlisting the candidates for the CBT-2.

Students who appeared for Railway Recruitment Board’s (RRB’s) Non-Technical Popular Categories exam 2021 staged a protest at Rajendra Nagar Terminus in Patna and blocked railway tracks, affecting the train services in parts of Bihar on Monday. The protesters claimed that they were unhappy over the “inaccurate exam results.”

Reportedly, the result of the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) for computer-based test (CBT) was declared on January 15 for shortlisting the candidates for the CBT-2. The students opposed the government’s decision to hold two exams.

Patna district magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh stated that the protestors hampered the train services for nearly five hours. “This is not the way to resolve any issue. We’ll take action against the main culprits and register case against them,” said Dr. Singh.

Meanwhile, Railway Ministry has issued a public statement on Tuesday, where it stated, “It has come to notice that aspirants of Railway job have indulged in vandalism/ unlawful activities like protesting on Railway Tracks, disruption of Train Operations, damaging Railway Properties etc.,”

The notice further stated that “such misguided activities are highest level of indiscipline rendering such aspirants unsuitable for Railway/Government job. Videos of such activities will be examined with the help of specialized agencies and candidates/aspirants found indulged in unlawful activities will be liable for police action as well as lifetime debarment from obtaining Railway job.”

On Monday, the district administration used “mild” force to disperse the protestors following the efforts of Dr. Singh and SSP Manavjeet Singh Dhillon who stated that these types of protests will yield no result.

“An FIR has been registered in this connection. It is suspected that the protesters might have been instigated by those running coaching institutes for competitive exams. All those found complicit will face action,” the district administration said in a release.

The protesters were finally removed at 10.05 PM.
