Tanya & Yuvakshi: Meet 2 UP girls who topped the CBSE Class 12 exams

Amongst them, two girls from Uttar Pradesh namely Yuvakshi Vig and Tanya Singh have topped the CBSE class 12 results.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) announced the class 12 broad result today. The students can avail of their respective results from the official websites – cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Notably, 1,34,797 students have secured more than 90% while 33,432 students have scored above 95%. The overall pass percentage records 92.71%.

Amongst them, two girls from Uttar Pradesh namely Yuvakshi Vig and Tanya Singh have topped the CBSE class 12 results. Reportedly, the two toppers have scored 500/500 marks. Notably, this year, to avoid unhealthy competition, no topper’s merit list has been declared.

According to the report by Indian Express, Yuvakshi Vig has scored 100 marks in all five subjects. Reportedly, Vig studied at Amity International School, Noida, and has become one of the toppers from CBSE class 12 countrywide. Her subjects included English, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Painting papers. Reports also suggest that she has given some CUET 2022 papers for UG admissions.

On the other hand, India Today reported that Tanya Singh from Delhi Public School, Bulandshahr has also scored 500/500 marks in her class 12 board exam. The result has been confirmed by the Principal of the school as well.

According to CBSC, the class 10 and 12 board exams for 2023 will take place from February 23. Further, the class 12 compartment exams will be taking place from August 23 on the term 2 syllabus.
