New Delhi: South/pan-India movies like Baahubali 1 and 2, RRR, and KGF series had a major box office at the theatres. However, some people have been eagerly waiting for its OTT release. Several South Indian movies already had their OTT release, including those that were not hit at the box office.
Here are some South biggies that are on the way to making their OTT release. Let’s have a look:
1. RRR – Zee 5
Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, the movie was a blockbuster that narrated the tale of two legendary revolutionaries and their journey far away from home. Following their journey, they return home and start fighting against British colonialists in the 1920s. The movie starred Ram Charan, N.T. Rama Rao Jr, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles. The movie is set to stream on Zee5 from June 3.
2. Beast – Netflix
The movie revolves around Veera Raghavan, an Indian RAW agent who was sent on a mission to capture the terrorist Umar Farooq in Kashmir. However, a tragic incident leads him to suffer from PTSD. The movie stars Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hedge in the lead roles. The movie will be released on Netflix, streaming from May 11.
3. Ghani – Aha Telugu
The movie narrates the story of a boxer who has a lifelong passion for sports however, his dream takes a turn when an expected event changes his life. Apart from Varun Tej the movie features Saiee Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, and Sunil Shetty in pivotal roles. The movie will be streaming on Aha Telugu from April 22.
