Anand Ahuja, Sonam Kapoor’s husband, said, “It’s funny you say the movie changed your life because it’s so natural to who you have always been as long as I’ve known you – the vision and perspective, the certainty and assurance, the sense of humour and lightheartedness.” All of this was shown in the film, which serves as proof that the public would value your work if you consistently communicate your opinions honestly.

In celebration, actress Swara Bhasker also spoke about how ‘Veere Di Wedding’ became special for her. She opined that it was a landmark film for the entire bollywood industry. It was the first time in the history of bollywood that four women actresses were casted for the lead role and no hero was involved in the film. It was an unabashed resemblance of friendship in the film community, where usually friendship stories revolve around male bonds as protagonist tales.”

The movie received a great level of recognition and it secured a considerable praise from the audience as well.
