New Delhi: Businessman Lalit Modi shook the internet on July 14 by announcing the news of dating former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. Following this announcement, an old conversational exchange between the couple on social media went viral on the internet. In the old tweet, Lalit Modi can be seen talking about ‘commitment’.
In the reply to the tweet that goes back to 2013, Sushmita Sen wrote, “;) gotcha 47!!”, to which Modi replied and asked her to give a reply to her SMS.

The news of their dating was revealed when Lalit Modi tweeted and referred to Sushmita as her ‘better half’. He also shared some pictured of the couple together. As people on the internet were shocked by assuming that they have married each other, Mr Lalit made it clear that they are only dating at the moment.

Lalit Modi was previously married to Minal Modi. The couple married on 17 October 1991 and their relationship continued till Minal passed away in December of 2018 due to cancer. On the other hand, Sushmita Sen was in a relationship with Rohman Shawl before they broke up in December 2021.
