New Delhi: Rashmika Mandann will be seen in a romance drama titled ‘Rainbow’ alongside Dev Mohan. Dream Warrior Pictures’ SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu launched the project on Monday, revealing that Rainbow will be a breezy love fantasy starring Rashmika. Shantharuban, a debutante, will helm the film.
While little is known about the premise of the film at this time, it has been claimed that Rainbow began production with a formal pooja on Monday and that filming will begin on April 7, 2023.
Rashmika said of the movie, “For the first time, I am portraying the protagonist, and the tale is shot from the girl’s perspective.” I am beyond thrilled to bring this character to life with every one of you. Rainbow is a movie that will both thrill and excite you… the audience’s journey with the girl is going to be a crazy ride, so buckle up everyone, this is going to be a fantastic ride.”

Rainbow, according to director Shantharuban, is a “one-of-a-kind romantic dream drama,” and “you will see Rashmika’s most matured performance yet.” The film will tug at your heartstrings while also enthralling you with its innovative storytelling.”

In the meantime, Rashmika Mandanna will star in Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in significant parts. The movie will hit theaters on August 11, 2023. In addition, Rashmika is working on Pushpa: The Rule.
