New Delhi: The teaser of Prabhas’ much-awaited film ‘Adipurush’ was released. The teaser, however, did not get a welcoming reaction from the audience. The visual effects and the CGI looked like an animation film and netizens were disappointed. There was a lot of buzz around Ramayana turning into a feature film, but the audience did not get what they expected.
This led to a meme fest on social media, where people called the teaser to be animated and drew comparisons with western films and shows.

The film is written and directed by Om Raut and stars Prabhas as Adipurush, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Vastsal Sheth as Indrajit, Sunny Singh, Gaurav Pareek and others. The dialogues are written by Manoj Muntashir while the camera work is carried out by Karthik Palani. The music in the film is composed by two duos Ankit-Sanchit and Ajay-Atul. The film is produced by Retrophiles and T-Series Films, and will release on 12 January 2023 in five languages, namely, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
