New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Thursday. The actor is set to begin shooting for his upcoming action-adventure drama “Ram Setu” in Ayodhya.
The film, directed by Abhishek Sharma of “Parmanu” and “Tere Bin Laden” fame, will star ‘Khiladi Kumar’ in the role of an archaeologist.
Akshay, Jacqueline, Nushrratt in Ayodhya for ‘Ram Setu’ film
Earlier in the day, Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha reached Ayodhya for the ‘muhurat puja’ of their film ‘Ram Setu’.
Taking to Twitter, the ‘Mission Mangal’ star wrote, “A special film, a special start…Team #RamSetu off to Ayodhya for the muhurat shot. And so the journey begins. Need special wishes from all you guys (added a folded hands emoticon).”
‘Hidden talent’ of Akshay’s co-stars
While in Ayodhya, Akshay shared a special ‘talent’ showcased by his female co-actors on his Twitter account.
Akshay shared a video where Jacqueline and Nushrratt are both doing their make-up in a moving bus.

Akshay and his co-actors first went to meet Raja Ayodhya, Bimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, where they also met other members of the Shri Ram Teerth Kshetra Trust.
