New Delhi: Alienoid: Return to the Future, which is the second installment of super-hit South Korean science-fiction Alienoid, is now available for watching on OTT.
Helmed by acclaimed director Choi Dong-hoon, the movie earlier arrived on the Korean big screens on April 10, 2024, & received rave reviews from the fans.
Subsequently, the Ryu Jun-yeo starrer’s dubbed versions were also released in several markets like North America, Hong Kong, Vietnam, India, and China where they also managed to impress the moviegoers & critics within no time.
Now, following a remarkable Box Office run, the flicker has landed on a digital platform to try its luck with the OTTians.
Alienoid: Return to the Future OTT Release Date
South Korean movie lovers can now enjoy Alienoid: Return to the Future on Amazon Prime Video where the film is available for streaming from May 16th onwards.
Announcing the same, Prime Video, on Thursday, took to its official X (Previously Twitter) handle, dropped the film’s date reveal poster & penned, “Discover the greatest mysteries of the future. Catch Alienoid Return To The Future only on Amazon Prime.”

It will now be interesting to see what kind of response the South Korean flicker will receive from the audience on digital screens.
Plot
While Lee Ahn (Kim-Tai-re) somehow manages to prevent an alien prisoner stuck in a human body from fleeing away, her attempt to open the gates of time goes miserably wrong and she finds herself stuck in the past.
Meanwhile, an extremely powerful entity Haava, unleashed by a run-away alien, starts to wreak havoc on Earth by massacring humans & destroying everything that came in its way.
To stop this from happening, she must find Thunder (Kim Woo-bin) who can open the gates of time for her & to the future.

Cast and Production
A set of skilled Korean actors including Kim-Tai-re, Ryu Jun-Yeol, Lee Hanee, Kim Woo-bin, Jin Seon-kyu, Jo Woo-jin, and Yoon Kyung-ho have played pivotal roles in Alienoid: Return to the Future. Ahn Soo-hyun has produced the movie under the banner of Caper Film.
