New Delhi: Sandra Hüller and Swann Arlaud starrer super-hit French Legal drama Anatomy of a Fall, which is Anatomie d’une chute in French, emerged as a massive blockbuster on the global Box Office.
Beginning its dreamy successful journey with an exclusive premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2023, the Justine Triet directorial intriguing drama went on to win the coveted Palm d’Or and Palm Dog Awards before having a remarkable theatrical run not just in France but also in several other countries.
By the conclusion of its BO journey, the film, made with a small budget of Rs 55 crore (Approx), raked in an impressive amount of Rs 250 crore (Approx) to register its name as one of the biggest French commercial hits of 2023.
Besides winning the Palm d’Or and Palm Dog Awards, the legal flick also has numerous other awards including 5 nominations for the Academy Awards, 2 Golden Globes, and one British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award.
Now, days after hitting the Indian big screens on 2 February 2023, Anatomy of a Fall is finally rolling out for the OTT audience by making its debut on digital platforms.
Anatomy of a Fall OTT Release Date
For the International audience, Anatomy Of Fall is all set to premiere on Hulu from 22 March 2023 onwards. Meanwhile, Indian viewers can expect the award-winning film to arrive on Disney + Hotstar on the same date (22 March) in 3 languages (French, German, and English).
However, an official confirmation regarding the film’s digital release date on Disney + Hotstar is yet to be made by the makers.
Anatomy of a Fall Plot and Cast
Helmed by Justine Triet, Anatomy of Fall follows the story of a lady who is accused of murdering her husband after her 11-year-old blind son stumbles upon his dead body. Later, as the legal drama proceeds, the woman finds her character, morals & marriage under attack as authorities hold her son as the main witness while leaving no stone unturned to unveil the reason behind her husband’s suspicious death & holding her liable for the same.
Anatomy of Fall’s star-studded cast sees Sandra Hüller and Swann Arlaud play the lead roles while Milo Machado-Graner, Antoine Reinartz, Jenny Beth, Sophie Fillières, and Samuel Theis feature as other Key characters. The film was produced by Marie-Ange Luciani and David Thion & released under the banner of Les Films de Pierre on 23 August 2023 (France).
