New Delhi: While Ayushman Khurana has given Bollywood several class super hit films over the years, none of them come close to the success of his 2018 released mystery-thriller Andhadhun.
Helmed by ace director Sriram Raghavan, the movie, which arrived in the cinemas back in October 2018, received an extremely overwhelming response from film critics & fans who all hailed it a masterpiece in one go. To this day, It stands as the biggest hit of Ayushman’s career with a whopping Box Office figure of Rs 456 crore.
However, despite turning out as a blockbuster affair on the big screens, Andhadhun failed to make it to any OTT platform for a long time, and even when it did, it was only made accessible through VOD and buy or rental Basis.

Andhadhun Story
Written and directed by Sriram Raghavan, Andhadhun tells the captivating story of a piano maestro Aaksh (Ayushman Khurana) who fakes blindless to make people appreciate his craft. One fine day, he crosses paths with Sophie (Radhika Apte) who hits him with her vehicle at a road crossing.
Feeling sorry for hurting a blind man, Sophie then decides to help Akash by taking him with her and even getting him some work as a pianist at her father’s food outlet.
Inside the restaurant, Akash meets an ex-film star Pramod Sinha (Animl Dhawan) who gets mesmerized by his piano skills and offers him to perform at the merry event of his and his way younger wife Simi’s (Tabbu) wedding anniversary.
However, things take a tragic turn at the anniversary bash when Simi and her ex-lover brutally kill Pramod and dispose of his dead body right in the presence of Akash.
How Akash continues to fake his blindness to keep himself safe from the murderers while making sure to get them punished for the crime is the remaining story of the movie.
