New Delhi: Ever Since the release of its action-packed compelling trailer, Ranbir Kapoor’s animal has become the talk of the town.
The film’s buzz amongst fans is so high, that it has already started shattering BO records 3 days ahead of its arrival in the theaters.
While Ranbir’s fans are busy celebrating Animal’s souring buzz, the same is giving a headache to the fans of Salman Khan, whose Diwali release Tiger 3 is still running in the theaters.
So will Ranbir’s Magnum opus put an end to Salman’s Tiger 3’s golden run at the BO, or the Sultan actor’s stardom will help his film survive Animal’s tsunami? Read ahead to know more.
Animal vs Tiger 3: The buzz
Currently, the buzz of Ranbir’s film is growing more and more with each passing day. Its trailer has already received a thumping viewership of 71 million in just a single day and even outperformed Shah Rukh’s Jawan’s prevue in the process.
While fans are going gaga over Ranbir’s and Bobby’s massy avatars in Animal, they are also adoring veteran Anil Kapoor for his captivating acting in the film’s trailer.
However, the film’s lead actress Rashmika Madanna is being trolled for her overacting in its trailer and that is probably the only thing, except its 3:20 hour long run time, that might work against it in the future.
Speaking of Tiger 3, the film has already become a massive hit at the Box office and amassed over Rs 447 crore from the ticket windows.

Salman’s unchallenged stardom, Shah Rukh-Hrithik’s special cameo, the reputation of its predecessors Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, and Emran’s iconic acting have played a major role behind the film’s success at the Box office as the buzz it saw before it’s release.
However, despite all this, Ranbir’s Animal is looking like an equally big affair as Tiger 3 and its advance booking collections are suggesting the same.
Animal vs Tiger 3 Advance bookings
Save for the blocked seats, Animal has amassed a crazy total of 9.81 crores by selling around 3.37 lakh tickets through advance bookings.
Moreover, considering that the film is still 3 days away from its release, it won’t be wrong to say that it will wreak havoc at the Box office on the opening day, denting Tiger 3’s smooth BO run significantly.
However, in comparison with Animal’s 9.81 crore, Salman’s Tiger 3 collected a thumping 10.10 crore rupees by selling 3.65 lakh tickets on the ticket window 3 days prior to arrival on the Big screens.
So although Salman’s film is winning the advance booking battle against Ranbir’s Animal as of now, the gap between the two films’ collections (so far) is really slim.
