Plot
Set in the 1960s, the film follows Terry Gionoffrio. She is a young aspiring dancer who moves to New York City with dreams of making it big. She takes residence in the ominous Bramford apartment building. The building a gothic structure with a chilling reputation.
After a devastating injury derails her dancing career, the accident leaves Terry physically and emotionally broken. She struggles to make ends meet
Desperate and vulnerable, she encounters Minnie and Roman Castevet, who approach her. They are an elderly couple who live in the same building. They offer her comfort and assistance, providing her with financial help and a place to stay—the Castevets, are seemingly kind and nurturing at first.
However, they show an unsettling interest in her well-being, introducing her to their exclusive group of wealthy, eccentric friends. As Terry settles into her new life, she begins experiencing strange and terrifying occurrences in Apartment 7A. Objects shift on their own, eerie whispers echo through the halls at night, and an unshakable sense of being watched consumes her.
She begins to suffer from vivid and disturbing nightmares. Visions of hooded figures chanting in a dimly lit room plague her mind. Grotesque shadows flicker against the walls, and a mysterious presence invades her thoughts.
These nightmarish episodes begin to blur the lines between dream and reality, leaving her increasingly paranoid.
