The Real History
After no communication had been received since 15 November, a search and rescue effort was initiated 200 nautical miles southeast of San Jorge Gulf, on 17 November 2017. Eliana Krawczyk, the first female submarine officer of Argentina, was among the forty-four troops on board the submarine that went missing.
Argentine President Mauricio Macri relocated to the official house at Chapadmalal on the same day to keep a closer eye on the search and rescue effort.
