New Delhi: Mohra actress, Raveena Tandon made her comeback as well as her digital debut with a crime thriller on Netflix named ‘Aranyak’. The show premiered on December 10 which featured her in the lead role as a cop character named Kasturi.
In the show, Kasturi looks for two tourists and focuses on reviving a forgotten myth about a serial killer operating in the dense forest. The show also stars Parambrata Chatterjee as Raveena’s co-star.
Meanwhile, fans were extremely excited to see Raveena in the role of a cop. As soon as it was released, Twitter was flooded with reactions about the show. The micro-blogging site contained mixed reactions from the netizens. Some fans were overwhelmed by Raveena’s acting as a cop, Kasturi. However, one of the Twitter users said that the show was an engaging murder mystery, but could have been better with editing.
A user wrote, “Aranyak is a nice murder mystery, could’ve been fantastic if edited properly, series is keeping u engaged till end @TandonRaveena is awesome @paramspeak is fantastic. Wanted to see more of @ranaashutosh10. Finished on high note. Go for it 3/5,” while another one wrote, “Aranyak finished all the episodes in one go…so good to see @TandonRaveena back with a full swing..gripping story.”

However, some fans were disappointed after watching the show. A Twitterati rated the show 2.5 on 5 and stated that they did not have many expectations from the show. The user also stated that the show was good till the fourth episode, however, fell flat in the last two. The user wrote, “Not disappointed overall bcoz I did not have great expectations from d thriller to start with but midway thru d series I was expecting it to rate 3.5 stars but then it disappointed me quite a bit. Nevertheless wish u success for Aranyak.”
