Athiya Shetty-KL Rahul wedding: Couple could throw a grand party after IPL

The wedding of the duo will be commemorated privately with only close ones to be present in the ceremony

New Delhi: The much-anticipated wedding of Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul has already heightened fan enthusiasm. According to reports, Athiya and KL Rahul will marry on January 23 in Khandala.

Since the wedding will take place during the ongoing India-New Zealand cricket series, the cricketers who are close to KL Rahul like Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli may not be able to attend the wedding. For this, the couple is said to throw a grand party for their wedding after the IPL concludes.

According to the reports, the wedding of the duo will  take place, with close family & friends presence in the ceremony. Excluding them, there would be around 100 other prime guests joining the wedding in Khandala.

The guests are said to start arriving at the venue on January 21. Besides, special arrangements have been made for the media and paps at the wedding venue.

Since the wedding is around the corner, there is still no official announcements have been made from either of the sides – family members of the bride and groom. However, the preparations for the wedding are in full swing, as per the reports.

Apart from that, some videos and photos were being spread across the internet where the residence of the cricketer KL Rahul was seen to be highlighted with starry lights and balloons recently. However, one of the security guards present at the basement of Sandhu Palace informed the media that the decorations are for another ongoing wedding from the 13th floor and not for KL Rahul- Athiya’s wedding.
