Backstreet Boys’ AJ, Kevin throw underwear at audience during Mumbai concert (VIDEO)

A video of band members AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson throwing underwear at the audience went viral on the internet.

New Delhi: American boy band Backstreet Boys performed in Mumbai as they returned to India after a 13-year gap and took everyone by storm. From fans going gaga to celebrities attending the concert, it was a thrilling musical night for Mumbaikars. However, the performance went viral for the band members changing on stage and throwing underwear at the audience.

The band performed their DNA World Tour at Mumbai’s Jio World Garden. A video of band members AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson throwing underwear at the audience went viral on the internet. They changed clothes on stage in a small box-like changing room and came forward to throw the underwear.

The audience cheered and even caught the underwear. This was not the first time that they threw underwear at the audience, they did the same in the Philippines, and this seems to be a trend in their World Tour. The band calls it a reply to women throwing their bras and underwear at men.

The concert featured Backstreet Boys members Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, and Kevin Richardson performing their popular numbers, ‘I Want It That Way’, ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’, and others. The event was attended by Bollywood actors and sings including Shraddha Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Arbaaz Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Natasha Dalal, Benny Dayal, Dhvani Bhanushali, Prakriti and Sukriti Kakar.

The band was formed in 1993 and enjoys a global fan following. Backstreet Boys released the ‘DNA’ album in 2019 and will also perform in Gurugram on May 5, Friday.
