Bigg Boss 17: When Shraddha Das accused Mannara Chopra of beating her with bamboo stick and Priyanka Chopra defended her

Shraddha Das alleged that despite promising to be soft with her, Mannara ended up getting aggressive by unleashing herself on Shraddha and assaulted her physically during the filming of a fight scene of the movie.

New Delhi: Ever since its launch, India’s most popular reality show Bigg Boss 17 has been making waves amongst fans for numerous reasons. While Salman Khan’s charm has remained the USP of the reality show once again, the craze for its celebrity contestants amongst the viewers is also contributing equally towards the success of the show.

One of the show’s most talked about contestants is Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Manara Chopra who is being adored by the fans for her sassy personality and humorous nature. However, that’s not all the actress has been lately trending for. Admst her buzz inside the Bigg Boss house, an old video from her 2014 movie Zid Promotions has recently caught the attention of netizens.

In the video, Mannara’s sister Priyanka is seen defending her younger sister after she was accused of physical assault by the film’s costar Shraddha Das.

Manara Chopra thrashed her Zid co-actress?

During the promotion of her movie Zid, Shraddha Das alleged that despite promising to be soft with her, Mannara ended up getting aggressive by unleashing herself on Shraddha and assaulted her physically during the filming of a fight scene of the movie.

She further claimed that during an action scene, the Bigg Boss 17 fame actress kicked her so hard below her chest that she got blood clots all over her body.

Shraddha also said that Mannara didn’t just stop there and proceeded to beat her mercilessly with a bamboo stick following which, she had to be rushed to hospital.

Priyanka defends Mannara Chopra

Later, when the media asked Mannara about Shraddha’s allegation against her, Priyanka Chopra jumped in her defense and said that she too had been hurt numerous times on the sets.

The Hollywood actress further added, “New actors don’t understand that films are a lot more than just showing it off. It’s really important to understand that accident happens on the sets all the time.” She concluded her words by laughing and saying, “I don’t think koi kisi ko lakdi leke marta hai.”

Priyanka roots for Mannara

Meanwhile, the Citadel actress openly showed her support for Mannara and wished her good luck for her journey inside the BB house with an Instagram story.

Sharing her picture with young Manara, PeeCee captioned, “Throwback to little @memnnara. Good luck little one.”
