Bigg Boss OTT: “You are lucky I’m not inside”, Kashmera Singh slams inmates for age-shaming Shamita Shetty

In a video clip shared by Kashmera, Moose and Nishant were laughing as they said ‘ma ki umar ki hai (mother’s age)’ and ‘jab yeh boli na ma ki umar ki hai, buddhai ja rahi hai (when she said ‘she’s my mother’s age, getting old’)’.

New Delhi: The Bigg Boss witnessed ugly scenes recently as some housemates age-shamed actress Shamita Shetty, triggering anger and uproar outside the house. The actress received wide support on social media as many netizens slammed the inmates for passing snide remarks on fellow inmate.

Kashmera Shah, a former Bigg Boss contestant, also came out in support of Shamita Shetty and hit out at Akshara Singh for her pointed barbs.


Taking to Twitter, Kashmera told inmates Akshara, Pratik Sehajpal, Moose Jattana and Nishant Bhat that “they should feel lucky that she is not inside the house to break their face.”

Kashmera wrote, “Darling #akshara agar @ShamitaShetty ma Ke umar ki hain toh main yeh janna chahti hoon kya tum Ghar pe apne ma se bhi aisi batameezi se baat karti ho?Ab kahan gayi aapko sabhyata.”

Shamita and Akshara had got into an argument over a kitchen matter. At first, Akshara attacked Shamita for speaking in English, “You show off your English and hound others.” To this, Shamita had replied, “It doesn’t matter what language I speak in, you get on my nerves.”
