Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 OTT Release Date: Following the earthshattering success of Bigg Boss Tamil 7, which concluded in January 2024, the makers of the popular ‘Bigg Boss’ franchise are back with the announcement of yet another promising season of the reality show titled Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8.
Notably, unlike the majority of the show’s previous seasons, which were hosted by veteran Tamil actor Kamal Haasan, season 8 of BB Tamil will see Vijay Sethupathi as the new host who will anchor the reality show throughout the season.

From October 6, 2024, Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8, which is the Tamil adaptation of the popular American reality show Bigg Brother, will be televised on Vijay TV daily at 6 PM (IST).
Additionally, BB Tamil 8 will also stream online subsequently on Disney+ Hotstar, allowing the audiences to watch it at their convenience from the comfort of their homes.
However, a basic subscription to Disney + Hotstar’s services will be required in order the access the Sethupathi-hosted show on the digital platform.

Notably, despite unavailing the first teaser of their show nearly a month ago on September 4, 2024, the makers of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 have not yet officially unveiled the name of any contestant of their show.
However, with the fans still waiting for the final list of the probable contestants set to enter the unforgiving BB 8 house, the names of some popular celebrities, including Aishwarya, Gokul, and Paal Dabba amongst others have already started doing rounds on the internet as the potential housemates of the upcoming season of the reality show.
