New Delhi: Blue Lock, one of the celebrated and fan favorite sports anime of its time, based on the manga series of the same name, written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. The series will be arriving on October 5 on Crunchyroll.
The series was announced and aired in the month of October 2022 and took the internet by storm through various such as its sports focused plot and character designs and personality quirks. The first season aired 24 episodes, and fans were already hooked and wanting to know more.
However, with the demanding and growing population, recently, a second season was announced, to be aired in the early days of October this year.
Plot
The nation of Japan holds the desire to attain glory at the world level, which is only possible through one- and only one opportunity, the golden ticket to worldwide fame- winning the world cup. To accomplish this goal, the Japanese Football Association has to launch a new rigorous training program to find the next best striker for the national team.
For this, three hundred high school football players are placed against each other to earn the position, though the number of participants is large, only one will emerge victorious and worthy.
Season 1
Meanwhile, in season 1, the story revolves around Japan’s failed advances of being able to win the world cup one too many times, forcing them to rely on hiring an unhinged sociopath with massive ideas to create his own camp for teenagers to train for the post of the best striker in the national team.
Furthermore, 3000 handpicked high school students are set together to compete for the sole position of striker in the national team, and out of such a large number, only one- will be able to succeed.
