New Delhi: Ashok Selvan’s Tamil sports Drama Blue Star turned out to be a dreamy affair at the Box Office. Since day 1 of its release, the movie impressed the cine-goers, keeping them glued to the screens all the way till the credit rolls.
Thanks to its compelling plot, amazing cinematography & engaging storyline, the Jayakumar directorial checked all the boxes required for a flick to become a commercial hit & ended its theatrical run after raking in a handsome amount of money from the BO.

On 29 February, Blue Star will start streaming on digital Platform Tentkotta for the international audience. Confirming the same, Tentkotta, on Sunday, took to their official Twitter (Now X) handle & wrote,” Love Unity, and a sixer of emotions!#BlueStar on Tentkotta from 29 Feb.”
For the viewers in India, Blue Star is reportedly going to arrive on Amazon Prime Video on 29 Feb as well. However, the platform has yet to make an official confirmation regarding the same.

Written and directed by Jayakumar, Blue Star is a sports action drama set in the village of Arakkonam. It tells the story of two cricket captions of rival cricket team captains (Ranjith and Rajesh) hailing from different communities who join forces to fight against the discrimination & oppression they are subjected to due to the evils of castism.
The film sees Ashok Selvan and Shanthanu in the lead roles while featuring Prithvi Pandiaraja, Lizzie Antony Bagavathi Perumal, and Elango Kumaravel in other side roles. It has been bankrolled by Neelam Productions and Lemon Leaf Creation Pvt Ltd & was released on the big screens on 25 January 2024.
