New Delhi: Telugu actor Sayed Sohel gained massive popularity amongst the fans post his participation in Akkineni Nagarjuna’s reality show Bigg Boss Telugu 6.
Winning the hearts of fans with his captivating personality & charm, the 32-year-old actor remained one of the most talked about contestants throughout the season and even made it to the finals of the show. Nonetheless, despite his huge craze amongst the fans, Sohel failed to clinch the coveted trophy & lost finished his BB Telugu 6 journey as first runner-up of the show.
Later, as Sohail walked out of the BB house with his fame & buzz skyrocketed, several filmmakers approached him to feature in their movie as the lead actor. However, his latest flicker Bootcut Balaraju, which was released on 2 February, miserably failed to live up to his expectations & ended its theatrical run with disastrous BO collections.

Now, after over 3 weeks since Bootcut Balaraju’s theatrical release, its makers have finally announced the village drama’s OTT release date and platform. Following the film’s huge setback on the big screens, it is all set to test its luck on OTT by arriving on Aha Video.
The makers of the film have officially announced 26 February as the film’s digital release date and Sohel’s fans are buzzing about the same. It will now be interesting to see if Sohel’s ambitious project, in which the actor invested his fathers’ hard-earned money, manages to make a comeback on digital screens or goes down in the history books as a sorry affair.
