Bougainvillea OTT Release Date: Jyothirmayi, Kunchacko Boban, and Fahadh Faasil starrer super hit Malayalam crime thriller Bougainvillea is all set to hit the OTT screens tomorrow.
Helmed by Amal Neerad, the psychological drama, which premiered in theaters on October 17th, 2024, will become available for watching on SonyLiv from December 13th, 2024, offering the fans a great chance to enjoy the movie right from the comfort of their homes.
However, it is important to note here that a subscription to SonyLiv’s services will be necessary to access the movie on the digital platform.
Plot of the Film
Written by Lajo Jose and Amal Neera, Bougainvillea narrates the tale of Reethu and Royce, a happily married couple who are happy in their own world. However, their bubble of happiness breaks into pieces when an unfortunate accident leaves Reethu with amnesia which ultimately causes her a major loss of memory.
As if the trouble was already not enough for the couple, ACP David, who is working on a case related to the mysterious disappearance of several tourists in Kerela, enters the picture and claims that he sees Reethu as a major suspect in the case.
Is Reethu innocent? Or does she indeed have a link with the tourist’s unexplained disappearance? What will Royce do to protect his wife? Watch the movie and find out the answers.
Cast and Production
In addition to the talented trio of Jyothirmayi, Kunchacko Boban, and Fahad, Bougainvillea, in its main cast also features other actors including Sharaf U Dheen, Shobi Thilakan, Veena Nandakumar, and Srinda in key roles. Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban have produced the movie under the banner of Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures.
