New Delhi: Happy Birthday, Alia Bhatt! The actress is celebrating her 29th birthday on Tuesday. While basking in the success of her recent film Gangubai Kathiawadi, she treated her fans with the first look of her character Isha in Brahmastra. Alia Bhatt will be seen essaying the role of Isha opposite to her rumoured boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor, marking her collaboration onscreen.
Alia Bhatt took to social media releasing the 31-seconds teaser where the character of Isha in different avatars was unveiled. The actress portrayed herself as bubbly, chirpy, glamorous, fearless, and determined. The first look of Alia Bhatt also had glimpses of Ranbir Kapoor where the diva was seen holding him tight.
In the teaser, Alia was at times seen at the temple, while another time was seen wearing a red saree full of smiles.
At the end of the video, Alia is seen shielding herself from a blast, running frantically and looking at Ranbir as the fire around them intensifies. The clip ends with Alia starring at the sky all alone.
Alia shared the teaser on both Instagram and Facebook, captioning it as, “Happy Birthday to me. Can’t think of a better day and a better way for you’ll to meet Isha… Ayan my wonder boy. I love you. Thank you! #brahmastra.”

Apart from receiving birthday wishes from her fans, friends, and family, the netizens are impressed with the first look of Alia’s character Isha. Filmmaker Karan Johar also took to social media to share the first look of Isha while congratulating and wishing her on her birthday. Amitabh Bachchan, who is a part of the film shared the poster, tweeting, “Happy Birthday to the Light of Brahmāstra… Isha! Watch Isha in the first-ever visuals from our film, Brahmāstra. Alia will play the character of Isha, girlfriend of Ranbir’s character Shiva in Brahmastra. The movie will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy and is set to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.
