BTS’ Jin shares first pic after joining South Korean military, fans emotional as ‘Commander Jin’ trends on Twitter

New Delhi: K-pop band BTS’ eldest member Jin shared pictures and a note for fans for the first time after joining the South Korean army. Jin shared selfies in uniform which went viral on social media instantly. For people who might be concerned about his situation, he informed that he is enjoying his life in military training.

Sharing a message for his fans, the singer wrote that he is enjoying his life and is happy. He also wrote that he is sharing these pictures with the permission of the South Korean army and asked his fans to take care.

Jin enlisted for duty on December 13 last year and according to reports, he is undergoing training at a boot camp in Yeoncheon with a boot camp of a front-line army division.

Meanwhile, a video of him with the Korean army is trending on Twitter as BTS Army gets emotional and praises him for his services.

BTS members are working individually and are planning to go for mandatory military service according to their future plans. The K-pop band is likely to reunite in 2025 after Jungkook, Jimin, RM, Suga, J-Hope and V have served in the military.

As per the laws in South Korea, all able-bodied men of age 18-28 have to serve in the military for about a two-year period.
