New Delhi: The names of the actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi have been associated with the conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. They have been hitting the headline for the past few months.
Reportedly, Sukesh Chandrashekhar extorted Rs 200 crore from a businessman’s wife while his stay in the Tihar jail. These two actresses received several luxury gifts such as which including luxury cars, diamonds, and bags among other things from the 32-year-old man, who used the extortion money to buy these items, reported Enforcement Directorate.
Chats between Sukesh and Nora
According to the reports of India today, chats between Sukesh and Nora were cracked. The two were discussing the selection of luxury car.
“Do you like this?” Sukesh Chandrashekhar asked Nora Fatehi about a Range Rover car. “Yes, it’s a nice rough use car. It’s cute, it’s a statement car,” she responded. “I will show you more options,” he said.
In another conversation, Sukesh wrote to Nora, “I would highly appreciate it if you could speak for a minute to clarify everything. I hope you or your agency are not wondering why this gift. I want to make it clear that it’s not being given with any kind of motive, but only because when you like a person, you give them gifts. Doing it for that reason only, nothing else.”
Nora Fatehi’s involvement in the case
Nora has been summoned multiple times by the ED, given her involvement in the case. According to reports, Sukesh gifted her a BMW car in December 2020.
However, Nora stated that the car was gifted by Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s wife Leena Maria, for participating in an event in Chennai. In an official statement she claimed, she was a ‘victim’ of the whole play and has no involvement with the money laundering case.

The actress told to the ED that Sukesh gifted her two pairs of diamond earrings, two Hermes bracelets, three Birkin bags, and a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes, among other things. Besides, the two have been in regular contact since February 2021, until Sukesh got arrested.
Also during their contact, Sukesh gave various gifts to Jacqueline and her family members, provided charter flights to fly within India, her hotel stay, made payments in cash to the scriptwriter on behalf of the actress, reported ED.
