‘Chiyaan’ Vikram, Pa Ranjith dive into Hogenakkal falls while shooting for ‘Thangalaan’ (WATCH)

New Delhi: Tamil star ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram and director Pa Ranjith were seen diving into Hogenakkal falls while shooting for their upcoming film ‘Thangalaan’. The actor shared a video on his Twitter handle in which he can be seen bathing in the waterfall with the director and other crew members. The cast and crew can be seen sharing a special bond with each other.

While sharing the video, Vikram wrote about facing difficulties while shooting the film near the Hogenakkal falls but they enjoyed diving into the waterfall after the pack up. He also said that the crew members who were afraid to jump into the water at first were also the ones who did not want to come out of it.

The cast and the crew seem to be having fun while shooting for the period film ‘Thangalaan’. According to reports, the film is set in the Kolar Gold Mines while the plot of the film is not known. The promo of the film shows the protagonist as a herd of donkeys. The film features Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pasupathi along with bearded ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram in the lead. This also marks the first collaboration between Pa Ranjith and Vikram. The film is produced under the banner of Studio Green and Neelam Productions.

This film will mark another period film for Vikram after his last venture with Mani Ratnam in ‘Ponniyin Selvan: 1’. He played the role of Aditha Karikalan and the second part of the film is expected next year.
